For those who have not experienced the Facelift Dirtboys live in concert, you are missing a visual and audio treat. In Atlantic Canada, back in the early 1980's, there were several genres which made up the sub cultures. Two genres were the heavy metalists and the punk rockers. These two groups rarely listened to each others music. When hard rock progressed to heavy metal and speed metal on one side and punk rock became hard core, the two groups found their meeting ground.

Today, the Facelift Dirtboys are the modern meeting ground. They blend both a heavy metal and a punk sound, mixed with their own unique musical style.
